House in Villanúa

The house takes the stone and slate of Pyrenean architecture and orders them into a bold volume with a clean gable that frames the mountain landscape.

The end wall is hollowed into a large timber porch on the upper floor: a sheltered viewpoint that turns the life of the house towards the valley.
